Who Qualifies for Membership in IDAA?

IDAA is a worldwide fellowship of recovering healthcare professionals and their loved ones. Membership is open to physicians, dentists, psychologists, veterinarians, pharmacists, other doctoral-level healthcare providers, certified registered nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, students working toward these professional qualifications, and family members and/or significant others of healthcare providers. The only other requirement is the member's desire to achieve and maintain recovery.

IDAA aims to achieve financial inclusivity for eligible individuals aspiring to join as members. Financial assistance is provided through donations received by the organization and is accessible to those experiencing financial challenges. For support, please reach out to Executive@IDAA.org via email.

Doctoral Member

IDAA membership is for those who are qualified healthcare professionals with a doctoral or doctoral-level equivalent degree from the below list. At this time, Masters level degrees do not qualify, unless those are identified in the State of one's practice as ARNP, PA or CRNA. Full membership includes access to the Members Only Portal, including meeting listings, Community Bulletin Board, archives, and both in-person and virtual meetings. The Members Only Portal is constantly evolving and providing new content to members.
