TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is 28 miles from the Snowbird Resort. For more information about the airport visit https://www.slcairport.com/

Snowbird Resort is outside the boundaries of Salt Lake City, so fares to the resort are unregulated. Since ground transportation fares from the airport to destinations outside Salt Lake City boundaries remain unregulated, make sure you negotiate the rate prior to the trip.

You have several transportation options. There are onsite shuttle and ground transportation companies located in the baggage claim areas of both Terminal One and Terminal Two. In addition, companies providing transportation are available outside Door #7 in Terminal One and Door #11 in Terminal Two.

RESORT SHUTTLE SERVICE

Canyon Transportation is the designated company that provides express round trip airport transfers from the airport to Snowbird. Express hours from the airport are from 8 a.m. to midnight, departing hourly (summer hours). Return trips leave Snowbird 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the hour, based on reservations.

SPECIAL CANYON TRANSPORTATION RATE FOR CONFERENCE: Adults (13 years and older) are $68 each round trip; Children on the same itinerary are $48 each round trip. Return trips should be reconfirmed with Canyon the day prior to departure. Reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of arrival date. MAKE SURE to tell them you are with the IDAA group when you call for reservations. Canyon Transportation must have your flight details when booking your shuttle. For more information and booking, see the Ground Transportation section of the Snowbird site: www.snowbird.com

TRANSPORTATION NETWORK COMPANIES (TNCS) (UBER/LYFT/OTHERS)

Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) are prearranged ground transportation through a Smartphone application. TNCs can pick up and drop off passengers at Salt Lake City International Airport if they have an airport operating permit. Lyft (https://www.lyft.com/) and Uber (https://www.uber.com/) are legally operating in Salt Lake City and at the airport. Designated pick up areas for TNCs are indicated by curbside signs, and are located in the middle traffic lanes outside of baggage claim in Terminals One and Two.

Uber: One way from the airport to Snowbird is approximately $39 (prices checked May 2017).

Lyft: https://www.lyft.com/ One way from the airport to Snowbird is approximately $36 (prices checked May 2017).
