Keystone lies at the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Plan to come for several days in advance or stay after the conference to enjoy the EPIC scenery and adventures awaiting you here. Located in the Dillon Valley, Keystone Resort is within a two hour drive of many activities you may enjoy including Vail, Aspen, Rocky Mountain National Park, Idaho Springs and Cottonwood Hot Springs.
Just forty miles away is the historic silver mining town of Leadville, CO. Located at 10,152 feet in elevation, it is the highest incorporated municipality in the nation. There is much more to explore in Colorado including the history of its native peoples which include the Ute, Cheyenne, Navajo and Arapahoe nations.
Perhaps you and your family are campers. Access to sites are plentiful but often can be reserved early.
The 2013 LAC will not offer any conference related tours but the activities mentioned above and many more can be accessed at Colorado Tourism (http://www.colorado.com/).
Welcome to Colorado. We hope you enjoy what our area has to offer and will plan your trip accordingly.
