IDAA Annual Meeting 2010
Join us at the Adam's Mark Buffalo
The Jumping Off Place is the moment when we become willing to go to any length to achieve victory over our addictions, our self-centeredness.
Come to Buffalo for the 61st annual IDAA meeting and you will find new friends, new ideas and hopefully, a new victory. It will also serve as the jumping off place for a great summer vacation for the family. Our area abounds with scenic, architectural, historic, and fun sites to explore. You can visit our nation's oldest jumping off place for honeymooners and new relationships, Niagara Falls. We will convene in the newly renovated Adam's Mark Hotel located on Buffalo's waterfront.
As always, IDAA 2010 will feature a variety of recovery programs for all family members who attend. Sessions for AA, Al-Anon, IDAA Teen, and our popular recovery-based children's program for 7 to 12 year olds are returning to ensure the most valuable experience for all ages and programs. The Ala-Twenty (and beyond) program, for "matured" IDAA Teens, has become a strong and growing component of the meeting. A program of continuing educational credits will be offered, including dental, medical, and veterinary courses.
New attendees are, of course, the lifeblood of our conference. Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our members, partial or full AA and Al-Anon scholarships are available for individuals and families in need. If you know of anyone who may benefit from the IDAA fellowship, please encourage them to apply for a scholarship on or after March 1, 2010.
The local arrangement committee looks forward to hosting the 2010 meeting and hopes to see many new and old members. Check us out and register online for the meeting. Please make your hotel reservations as early as possible.
