Area Attractions

If it is attractions you are looking for then you are coming to the right place but have you left yourself enough time? . With at least three major theme parks, nearby beaches and the Space Center the Orlando area offers enough activities to fill a week's visit - sometimes two.

The planning committee for IDAA 2004 meeting wants you to enjoy your stay in Orlando but we also want to urge you not to skip the meeting for the attractions. The way admissions prices are structured at the theme parks and their locations relative to the convention hotel, do not lend themselves to dropping into the park for a few hours and then returning to the hotel to participate in a convention function such as hearing a speaker or attending a meal.

If you wish to take in the sights we respectfully urge you to give thought to coming a few days early and/or staying a few days after IDAA 2004. For this reason we have made arrangements with the convention hotel to have rooms available at the special convention rate from August 1st through the 10th.

Premier Convention Services who are working with us to arrange the pre-convention activities and golf event also have attraction tickets available to IDAA members. These tickets are somewhat less expensive and include offers not generally available at the ticket windows (in particular 1 or 2-day after 2PM tickets). Pre-purchasing will avoid standing in at least one line.
